  1. I'm not sure how many are active/veteran/retired members we have but if you have access to AAFES still, login, click the Mall link or the drop down box and select Ritz camera. you get free ship and 10% off everything, and tax free.

    on lenses this can save a ton of money, the d300 is $160 off the D300s is $180 off the D700 is $270 off

    the 400 f2.8 is $1000 off the top :wink::wink:

    and no sales tax.

    just thought i would pass the word :biggrin:

  2. Thanks for the suggestion....

  3. Thanks for the heads up Andrew. Now I just wish I had the funds to get some new gear.

    God Bless,
    David

    Maybe my dad can do that for me. He served in the Gulf War.

  5. if he still has an ID card (retired) then it shouldn't be an issue or if he can still log onto the site

  6. Still active duty here....
    But yep, I agree.... you can't beat AAFES when it comes to price matching & no tax.....:smile:

    I ordered one for the wife when we lived in the United Kingdom and they sent one out and we received it and I was billed for it, but the website showed the order as out of stock. About a month later another D70 showed up in the mail and the website showed one as shipped. I contacted them and told them to send me a return label with postage and I would send it back. I never got anything from them and after keeping in the box for about six month I said screw it and started using it. I never heard anything back from them.

  17. Oh well, you tried to tell 'em! Their loss!
