Here's a few from our recent Women's BB GF:

Bulleen Boomers ( Blue & Yellow) v Canberra Capitals.

This was the third (consecutive) time both teams played off in the GF, with Canberra at a 2-0 win ratio.

Bulleen won this encounter and their first flag in 28 years with an emphatic 103 - 78.

Nice shots. Looks like a full house! Definitely some intense action.

One thing I noticed is that a number of the players' shoes look more like running shoes than a basketball shoes. No high tops and only a few mid-tops. Most look to have little if any ankle support. Curious...

Hey Russ.. yep.. lots of strapped knees.. the winning team had three of their main players under serious injury clouds over the last 6 weeks.. they did extremely well to get on the court let alone contribute the way they did..

Hey Pete.. yes.. the shoes the girls are wearing here in Australia seem to be the lower profile.. could be a fashion thing...
