The group came to Dayton this Monday-Wednesday and I went out and took some pictures. After I left, I parked just ahead of the runway where they would be landing. The B-17 flew over me (by like 20 feet!) twice and the Mustang made one high speed pass and then another when it landed. Anyway here are the pics.

  2. Nice Mark. Great head-on shot of the P-51. Wasn't the whole thing a blast? Did you go inside any of them? Can you imagine spending 10-12 hours, freezing, in those bombers?

I got inside the B-24. The B-17 was too crowded and then they did the flights. Im a pretty skinny guy and there were some places on the B-24 that I had to go sideways and suck in to squeeze by. I can't imagine trying to get out quick if there was an emergency.
