No, really, it is true!
If you are talking about B&H Photo, I think you have your B+H's mixed up.
oh, yeah in ocean freight. Wrong bh me thinks...
Yeah but B&H photo DID have a $4 million loss... when they got sued by their hispanic (most likely LEGAL Puerto Ricans that populate the area heavily) for discrimination.
I wasn't talking about B&H. I was talking about B+H
and why is that important?
Does B+H have any D3's in stock?
Please, I come here to not think about financial tragedy. If I want that depression I will check my SEP IRA
before or after you fill your gas tank?:biggrin:
Ok, I'm a little lost on this one, are there any illegal Puerto Ricans?
Bad Bart, Bad Bart,,,, not funny:smile:
Made you guys look, didn't I?
Puerto Rico is a Commonwealth of the US. there are no Legal/Ileagal Puertoricans.
Uh, the $4.3 million settlement paid by B&H had nothing to do with immigration status. It was an EEOC complaint which was filed related to Hispanic employees being paid less than, denied promotions, and denied the same health benefits as "non-hispanic" employees. Had nothing to do with them being legal or illegal
HERE is the EEOC link.
how about we let my post be the last one, and let this thread gracefully move off to the second page, and yes Bart ya made me look!
No, but not everyone knows that. Most people when you say "hispanic workers" these days right away assume "illegal" ones from another unnamed spanish speaking country.
I just read this entire thread. That's two minutes of my life I'll never get back...
