Went shooting at the Titusville Fla. wetlands yesterday. Was hoping for much closer views. Had heard from Bob H at the Fla shoot that view was a bit long. But had to give it a try. Don't think I will go there again and tromp around after the monstor aligator sighting. EEEKKK

Got a few I will post over the next couple days.

The view as seen, first one and then 2 cropped.

    Hi Leigh,

Yes GBH at sunset on the beach.

The others were at sun setting yesterday. But not the greatest color sun setting. Rather over cast.

Thank you for viewing and nice comments

The alligator thing really hit reality today when I though twice about it.

Damn fools holding cameras....NO FEAR scary.

They are cute for sure. Funny to watch also.

    Thanks for nice compliment.

    Yes thier nests are impressive.

What really suprises me is the rather small nests the GHB's have in comparison to other large birds.

Guess they don't want the kids hanging around for long. Ok outta here. :>))

Nice sunset light at the beach is always great Gordon. Need to go again soon, I hope.

Thank you for the kind words.
  8. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh aren't they cute!!! Good shots Gale!! :)  :)  :)  :)  :)
  9. Very nice shots, Gale. Watch out for those gators -- I bet they're getting a bit less lethargic this time of year.

The lighting on the GHB is wonderful!

    Thank You Dawg,

The baby GHS's were just out of my reach. :<((((

But I do not think I will go back there...There are closer nests, babies not born or to small yet. But not worth the risk.

    Thank You very much David.

You havent posted in a while. What have you been up to.

Been to your "in my favorites" gallery. Haven't seen anything new. Hope your doing ok.

David, I am not going back to find that huge Gator for sure. Boy you should have heard the hissing going on.
  12. Hey Gale -

I'm doing OK, other than a recent battle with the flu. And the flu this year really likes to hang on, it's been quite the nuisance.

Haven't had many opportunities to go out shooting lately, but I'm hoping that will change soon along with the weather.

    Keep posting these great shots!

Ho David had a bout of something myself. About a month of not feeling quite up to par.

Hope all is well now. Spring is upon us. Thank goodness. Yes even here :>))

    Thanks for the reply.

Look foward to the new stuff.

    D2X wow..

Saw what you and Jim said about moving targets at long range. Sooooo Sorry to hear that.

First negative I have heard. The color and tone is great from what I have seen.
