Back From Africa (Part 3) - Help me Decide!

  1. Knowing how we like to photograph birds, here are a couple of heavily cropped images of a Grey Heron taken in Tanzania during our trip to Africa. It looks a lot like the Great Blue Heron we normally see in the US. Im not sure if I like the cropped images:

    Somehow I think the originals are more interesting :wink: :

    Does anyone else think it looks like the Heron is surfing on the Hippo? :cool:

    the perspective and relationship of them uncropped is far better in my opinion.

    Those are great.. Yes uncropped is wonderful
    Heron on a Hippo..

    Just never know what one will see. hummm
     
  4. I like the uncropped. Cropped it looks like a good bird shot of a heron on an old oil drum add the Hippo and the pictures take on life :smile:

  5. Playing follow the leader, uncropped versions look much better :smile:
