Hi All,
Nan & I just got back from 13 days in Baja California aboard Lindblad Expeditions "Sea Lion". We pressed the shutter button almost 8000 times, so this is just a teaser post, lots more will follow.
To sum it up in one word..
Wow
This trip was sensory overload.
We had close encounters with Grey Whales:
Very close (52mm):
Nan touching!!!!
:
Bob, in the middle with two others, touching
:
This Humpback Whale breeched 56 times in a row just in front of the ship just in case you did not get a good shot the first time:wink: :
We saw at least 10 Blue Whales, the largest animal to ever live:
We saw over 120 Sperm Whales in two very large groups:
Common and Bottlenosed Dolphin followed the ship, sometimes in groups of several hundred (or maybe 1000+)
The Mobula Rays were also jumping out of the water:
You must put this trip on your wish list!!
Many more posts to come as we go through the photos,
Bob & Nan
