Back with Nikon

Hi all, its been along time but I've bought another Nikon kit (D500 / D850 / 70-200 F2.8E / 200-500 F5.6 / 300 pf / 500pf (ordered) 500f4 E FL)

One of my first wildlife images was of a bird I've been trying to get for a long time but never got close enough, until now

thanks, they are pretty elusive and skittish. The largest of the UK woodpeckers standing about 12inches high

If you have a chance Colin, take a look at posts on FM by a fellow who goes by "multibit". He shoots the D850/200-500 combo with spectacular results imo. He's also from the UK.
