Despite the lighting, I just went outside to play with my old 50mm 1.8 lens and a 1+ close up filter on my D700.
settings were ISO 200, Fstop 11, WB auto, SS 320, manual mode, RAW

I dont know, maybe you are called Dianne.
I really like where I look at the image several times, especial at the flower on the left, less visible, less prominent, but part of the Picture.
I reckon this picture to be special attractive to Family related persons
I probable write this wrong, and I mean, Mother and child feelings.

Often a Picture means something/only/something when we can relate. .o)
Writing it bad or not, this picture is one I would like to have hanging on my wall

Thanks y'all! I've had a rather full plate lately with driver's ed, house repairs, and now my daughter may end up having surgery. AND that's not all! I just went out during the middle of day yesterday and shot the wild flowers that have come up in my yard. I really do need to get myself out more!

Thanks y'all! The flower is one of TX's wild flowers called "Indian Blanket." I have a few coming up in my yard!

Thanks y'all! I love flowers no matter what kind but have few chances to photograph them - when these came up in the yard, I wouldn't let anyone mow them down. Though I'm not crazy about TX, I do enjoy wild flowers when I can find them.
