Looking for a bag to hold a D2XS with 70-200 attached... plus 1 or maybe two lenses... any ideas??

I have a LowePro 75AW now for the D2XS and 70-200... works OK... but a touch too small, and it won't hold anything else.

Slingshot 300 is what I'm using. I like all the quick-access bags personally, but haven't compared them to much else so ymmv.
  3. I have fit that combo (mounted to camera, hood mounted as well) in a Dryzone 100 with two other non-tele photo lenses (18-70 and 35-70), 1.7 teleconverter, sb600, and an epson p2000. That is the waterproof bag, but I image that lowepro makes a similar bag that is not the waterproof one. It took a bit of thinking and re-arranging of the inserts but in the end it works great. Don't get the dryzone if you need quick access, it's rather cumbersome in that regard.
  4. Take a look also at the Tamrac Velocity 9. Does the D2XS + 70-200 nicely down the center. I'll tag along a SB800 + 1 lens as well down the sides.

I use the Slingshot 300 for the D2H w/ 70-200 mounted and there is plenty room left over. The D2XS will have have room to fit. I have room for 4 more lens, SB800 and Better Beamer.

  7. As mentioned in another thread I bought the Slingshot 300AW for this very purpose. Recommended highly.
