Bahia Palace

  1. The Bahia Palace was built in the 1890's in Marrakech, Morocco using the Moorish style. It was built by the Grand Vizier of the Sultan and had room for his four wives and 25 or so concubines. (The Grand Vizier must have been a busy fellow  ) The women were never expected to leave the palace, so they put gardens and courtyards inside the walls.

The palace is very plain on the outside, but highly decorated on the inside.

    The floors were mostly tiled:

The ceilings and doorways were very detailed:

    Very impressive Bob,

The first shot is a wall hanger for sure.
