Baldy's in Ketchikan...

Discussion in 'Birds' started by natelam, May 19, 2007.

  1. Just got back from a week in Alaska, got a chance to exercise the 300 2.8 AF-S II I recently picked up from Zandy. It's a killer combo with the TC14IIe =)

The highlight of the trip for me was in Ketchikan...walked out on a rocky outcropping on the ocean shore and a family of bald eagles swooped and danced around me for two hours. It was a magical moment that felt eerily spiritual as these creatures allowed me to witness their ritual.

  6. Nate,
WOW! These shots are wonderful. The 300 + TC is indeed a super combination. If anyone wonders, all they have to do is look at your photos!

    God bless.
