    Very pretty shot indeed.
  4. Great shot! The bird has great form—I'll give him a 9.9
  5. Thanks guys.

It looked to me like a ballerina hovering from cloud to cloud doing her dance :)
  6. 9.9 from me too !!

Well spotted Nik........ were you long in waiting and how many shots to get it???
  7. Thank you. I was just walking on a long peir in Fort De Soto Florida looking for an opportunity to take a picture of dolphins in the water, when this fellow flew over my head. I had the camera with the 70-200 lense ready and caught him with no problem. Florida is a great place to take bird pictures especially as you move closer to the south.
  8. What a beauty! Love the composition! Awesome shootin!

Welcome to the Cafe, Nik! Lovely egret shot!

Glad you could make it to Florida; sorry I missed you over at Ft DeSoto. I hope you enjoyed your trip. I was just down at DeSoto last weekend and also Captiva checking up on the migrant birds and they STILL haven't arrived.
