Battle Weary

Discussion in 'People' started by CliffB, Jun 15, 2007.

  1. I took this shot of a US Revolutionary War re-enactor, last year. Though I liked the subject, my shot looked quite drab. I revisited the image, this evening, and tried to breath a little life into it.

I like this a lot. It looks gritty and real.

Excellent shot Cliff - I'd probably crop it a bit different, but that's just me. Nice work!

  4. Thank you, Paul. It is always nice to hear from a fellow Carolinian. I have some good friends, just down the road from you, in Goldsboro.
  5. Thank you, Fred. I went through a variety of different crops, in working on this shot, and had trouble making a decision on which I liked best.

    nice work...
  7. Excellent shot! What facial character. It explains why "old guys rule". (an expression on a t-shirt I saw on the street in Ottawa this past week.)

Excellent Cliff. I really like this.

  9. Thank you Maurice, Rich and Tom.

A couple of years ago, one of my daughters gave me an "Old Guys Rule" t-shirt, on my birthday. I guess that means that I should start taking craggy faced portraits of myself.
  10. an outstanding image!
