    Michael what a wonderful picture; I spent three years not far from there in Ulm doing my time in the US Military. I spent many a weekend in Garmisch, Innsburck, Munich,Tyrol etc.. Your picture brings back many fond memories.

  9. Spectacular indeed. Post more, please!
  10. Wow, you just confirmed my childhood dreams that i should go there.
    I still have relatives in southern Germany.
  11. O wow!!!!!!!!!!

    That was one area of Germany which we did not get to visit, and now I see that I simply MUST go! :biggrin:

    Can't wait to see more, these are just pure eye candy! :smile:
  12. Nice photos! I'll be in Germany this summer, but will not be visiting the alps.
  13. Beautiful Michael,
    I was once at the Königssee with my school (long time ago) and I remember we rented some rowboats and did some ad-hoc race with them :rolleyes: .

    The light on #2 is spectacular!

    Oh wow! That second one stunning. Just curious ... Is it a cropped wide angle or panorama?

    But then, all of your pictures have been beautiful.
  17. Thanks a lot for the comments! (....helps me explain to my wife, why I always "schlepp" around the photo-backpack :Crunk:)

    I captured the second "one the run" while driving home. Saw this stopped the car, and managed to make a few snaps before my passengers grew impatient....

    @John: This is slightly cropped (hight) from a 55mm picture (AF-S 17-55 @ f8)
  18. Yikes! That's a great pic!
