Rabid bob cat attack
Nan & I saw one while at the Merritt Island IV shoot in February.
I'm sure glad we were in the car and the bobcat was not too close!
Bob & Nan
Bears, sharks, bob cats, gators and drag cars. you never know where it will come from.
Harry and I saw one at the click ponds next to the Viera wetland also.
Now ya'll know why we shoot from the van or truck when we go to Hagerman! I'm too scared to get out much - or at least I'm extremely cautious about my surroundings!
Always be alert for rabies. In October 1998, in broad daylight, I was hiking in a remote canyon in south Utah when I was relentlessly attacked and bitten by a small yellow bat that turned out to be rabid. After a long hike out, and guidance from a very alert public health nurse in Moab, I made my way to Grand Junction Colorado to St Mary's hospital for the rabies Postexposure prophylaxis.
I probably owe my life to this public servant who recieved a citation from the governor for her quick response. It is certainly nothing to take lightly.
