Beach Walk

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by BrainOnSigs, Aug 24, 2008.

  1. It is Mrs BoS's birthday today. I woke her up to a new Vera Bradley purse with donuts and coffee. I woke the kid up and we took a sunrise walk along the North Beach of Fort Desoto.

I have been on a cloud/landscape picture tear as of late. With all the rain....the Florida skies are a deep blue with lots of clouds.

  4. Beautiful shots Brian!
  5. Hi Brian, these are a really nice series of shots...
Love the 3rd shot showing the footsteps in the sand.

Got ask, what lens did you use as in the 2nd shot,
the water horizon has curvature in it, dipping in the center...???

the clouds in the sky are my favorite part of the pictures. what lens were you using to snap a picture of the bird?
  12. Thanks for all the very kind comments. The pics were all handheld using my D300 with my "walkabout" lens...the Nikkor 18-200 VRII lens.

The funny part? I have received more comments on the quick snap pic of the heron than of the other pics that were planned.:biggrin::biggrin:
