Mike your first picture is magnificent, the color out of the 17-55 are very saturated and rasor sharp but you have to be careful at the angle you use when you take pictures because it can show some distortion (bent curves).

Haven't noticed too much distortion. I'm having more of a problem with proportions due to focal length. Starting to see that I get better results composing the scene flat if I'm shooting wide.

Nice shots and defeneatly great colours. I am still thinking about a 17-35 or 17-55 lens. The 17-55 would give more room for zooming.

I like them all. I find it comical that the kid in the last shot has a Nirvana shirt on. I would think that Nirvana would seem like Oldies to him. :)
