A beautiful series indeed! And rather poignant as well. They seem to tell the tale of fleeting dreams.
They remind me of the first verses of Ecclesiastes for those familiar with this.

for those who are not:
Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher,
vanity of vanities! All is vanity.
What does man gain by all the toil
at which he toils under the sun?
A generation goes, and a generation comes,
but the earth remains forever.
...

(Having just reread the opening lines, it struck me how relevant they still are)

And for those that feel these are gloomy lines, the conclusion was that we'd still better be pushing on.
Also rather relevant to our times :)

Hmmm....looks like photos 2-5 were taken right outside of Atlanta at The Old Car City! Great place! I highly recommend it....and LOTS of bug spray!

2, 3 and 4 and the last image were definitely taken at Old Car City in Georgia. In fact Karen, her husband, my brother and I all did a shoot there together and Karen and I both took a shot of #2.

Also, while there, I met a gentleman by the name of Jim Carnivale who took a photo of the last image in the article. I really would like to get back there - talk about photo ops!
