Great set! I am actually living in beijing for the next six months as part of a study abroad program. Are there any must see places in or around beijing that you would recommend? That dome shot is also incredible. Thanks for sharing the photos

Thank you for your feedback. Regarding places in BJ, I'm not an expert (I have been there only once and less than 2 week). But in addition for those standard tourist places (the great wall, forbidden city, Bei Hai park, Hou Hai etc.), I visited 2 a little bit less known places:

Beijing Guan Yuan Hua Niao Yu Chong Shi Chang (Guanyuan Flower Bird Fish and Insect Market)

and

Wukesong Camera Market.

My advice is not to buy anything valuable from that camera market but bags etc. camera stuff can be find with very reasonable price. For example I bought a padded bag for my Gizmo tripod for just a few euros.

A very good place to eat the world famous Peking Duck is Beijing Datong Roast Duck Shop.
