Bi-Weekly Sports Challenge #1 Passage of time
Here’s how the Sports Forum Challenge works….

Each week we will have a theme to which everyone who chooses to participate must submit a photo.

Each winner will have the opportunity to then select the new challenge and pick the winner for their challenge.

You have till Sunday Sept 5th, 2010 to enter your photo at which point (Sunday night of each week) we can pick a winner.

The first picture posted in your post will be your entry. You can post more than one picture, but only one can be submitted for the challenge.

Hey Tim,

Thanks for re-starting the challenge ... made me go through some photos I haven't looked at in a couple of years

First one was taken with an old P&S ... my daughter's wining goal in her soccer Fun Day in '06. Fast forward to last March - at our provincial tournament she scored 4 goals in one game and hit the crossbar with a minute left to go. I was shooting the game from up on the catwalk & captured her celebration after scoring her 4th goal.

In both cases the celebration hasn't really changed over the years :biggrin:

Tim, I thank you for getting this going again, and I think the timing was right. I might have suggested that going with a longer deadline (not the weekly format we used to do) might help keep interest going a little more... maybe bi-weekly? Regardless, thanks and lets' go everybody!!

Also, it seemed like we were running on fumes in terms of new topics before the challenge was suspended, should we try and come up with new ones or just re-invent the older ones by using current photos?

I have no problem starting fresh since Tim's smartly used Week #1 here... surely we have enough new shots to fuel the challenges to make it work with older subjects.
