  1. This is a shot of an ice cream place we frequented during our recent trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. Processed in NX2, Photomatix, and CS3.

Oh, BTW, the shot was taken with the D3 and a 20 year old 35-70 F3.3-4.5 AF Nikor lens I haven't used in over 10 years!
  2. This came out nice Rich ....... was it multiple exposures or just one?

  3. It was a single shot and I used NX2 to artificially "bracket" it to 5 shots (-2.-1.0.+1. and +2 EV). Looking at it on my laptop monitor, it looks dark...what about yours? It looked fine on my calibrated 24" Dell though.....hmmmmm....
  4. Nice. It's got a sort of Norman Rockwell-esque feel to it. Not dark on mine, though I use a dell, too, and have had to make some custom presets for printing vs normal viewing/web publishing.

Looks great! I'm looking at it on a calibrated Lenovo laptop monitor, and it doesn't look too dark.
  6. Just a tad dark ..... but not overly-dark.
