Bird ID Help -- Flycatcher??

Discussion in 'Birds' started by EastCoastFlyer, May 13, 2007.

  1. The only guess anyone has ventured on this guy is a Yellow-Bellied Flycatcher. Photographed in Flagler County Florida (northeast FL, souht of St. Augustine). It was a very windy day, which helps explain the very puffy head appearance, I think... confirm or and alternate ID?? Thanks!

We have these in our area, Leon County, florida, and I think it is the Greater Crested Flycatcher. In my yard there are usually a couple of them flying around together and they make quite a lot of noise.
