Buying a new lens gave me the hmmpffff I needed ! Plus this particular lens allows (forces?) me to shoot things I couldn't (wouldn't?) shoot before !

Indeed, as all telelens, the slightest error of focus, or too slow a shutter-speed, or lack of secure hand-holding are immediately sanctionned by some blur...

Oh well... I guess once one get good results hand-holding a 300 mm. lens, one doesn't have to worry anymore when using a shorter one :wink: !

Yep ! I like very much the very short depth of field at full aperture ! At a distance of 20 feet and f/4, the DOF is only 3.5 inches !
