I really enjoyed (it appears) taking portraits of these beautiful birds:

    A Smiling Spoonbill

    A Tri colored Heron

    A pretty cattle egret

    A talented Snowy
  2. These are fantastic, Trish! You really make that combo sing. How'd you get that tri-color to do that with his crown feathers? ;) Love the spoonbill, too! Noticed your avatar earlier but the larger size is very the colors on him! :)

    Hi Trish -

Ever thought of a career as a professional portrait photographer? Oh well, you probably wouldn't be as happy. These birds are a lot prettier than most people I know. Great shots all. Congrats.

These are some of the nicest pics to come from Merritt II yet.

I'm so glad everyone has had a great time.

    Hi Mike,

I love the colors also. I never noticed all these birds before I began photography...amazing now I see them everywhere.
