Birding with 200-400VR anyone?

    White-crowned sparrow;D2X; 200-400VR; @400mm + HSC; so technically, it was shot at 900mm handheld

    that is my birding lens, I note you have the 500VR, Like it?
     
  3. Haven't gotten to try it yet. Will do so soon. I was struggling with the 200-400VR in a 5 mile hike yesterday and so, a 500mm lens will probably be overwhelming. That was also the main reason of not getting a 600mm.
