    Here are some birds you don't see every day! That's the strangest looking cardinal I've ever seen.

    Outstanding series of shots although that is not a hyacinth macaw...lol I think ya hit the wrong pic. Don't you hate when that happens? :biggrin:

  5. Somehow this was posted twice and I tried to delete the 2nd post. Check the other post, it has all the photos and captions. How do I delete this?
     
  6. Red-headed Cardinal was what I was told it was called by a worker at the zoo. Paroaria gularis is its scientific name and Red-capped Cardinal is another common name
