Birds of Bombay Hook NWR

There were a huge number of Great Blue Herons and Egrets present at Bombay Hook NWR in Smyrna DE. These were taken just after sunrise on 7/4/08. The weather was not the best as it quickly got cloudy and began to rain. The Green Head Flies were everywhere since the reserve is next to the Delaware Bay and they were extremely annoying.

Man which I could see that many Egrets in one spot

of course without them Flies !!
