Birds with the new 300...

Picked up a 300 2.8 AF-S II from our own Zandy and finally got it all put together and took it out for a spin. D2H, TC14II, Monopod.

Red Robin, Black Capped Chickadee, Red Chested Nuthatch, Cedar Waxwing, Some kind of wren, red squirrel... (in no particular order).

Lost the D2H LCD cover (again) and the CF card rubber grip while hiking. Bummer =(

You are going to love that combo Nate. I shot with these exact pieces for two years (over 100K shots), and so I should know.
