Yesterday was birth day for the cranes - at least one of the two. The second one was still not out of the egg by the end of the day.
1. Here is a parent on the nest. It was cool for this time of the year so it stayed on the newborns almost the entire day. It was one of those - just wait for mom to stand up for 20 seconds, take a few shots before it sat down again for another hour or more.
2. Approximately a half hour after hatching
3. Peaking out about 6 hours later - light was quite harsh
