Blossoms and Ice

  1. Here's a shot I took a few weeks ago. I looked out the window early in the morning and saw what I thought was the water from the sprinkler glistening on the apricot tree blossoms. I grabbed my camera for a few shots and when I got closer, I discovered it was ice not water. :D I didn't think we were going to get any apricots at all but to my surprise, they seem to be coming on now.

That's pretty....and I'm glad that the ice doesn't seem to have damaged the fruit.

    Dennis,

Very unique (and pretty) shot. Like you and the other responders, I'm glad it didn't seem to hurt the tree.

  5. Thanks Leigh, Bryan and Frank. I thought it was interesting how the polarizer put some rainbow hues in the ice.
