"Blowin' in the wind"

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by Palouse, Jul 28, 2008.

  1. These were taken last week near Dayton,WA at a wind farm. I've been doing some work down there but over the year or so I haven't been out on the farm at sunset or during something other than midday sun. Three different effects--freeze, blur and multiple exposure and a couple from a stormy spring day, and one from a bright late summer afternoon.

Windmills are ever so mesmerizing and graceful---someday when I'm not working I hope to have the time (and talent!) to capture their ballet!

    C&C welcome as always.

wow...who knew windmills could be looking so pretty! Nice job Nick.
  5. Thanks Linda!

I thought it time I got rid of the bashfulness and started sharing some of mine. (It also has to do with a natural laziness!).

Nice series of images. I have always wondered what kind of sounds are generated by these windmill farms.
  13. Very nice indeed, I like what you've done with these images.
