What a beauty Patrick!! Where did you get this one?
Outstanding photograph Patrick...
Thanks, got it in my front yard.
I hope you did well today in Guntersville. Wanted to make it over there but it just wasn't possible.
Beautiful image and bird :>)))
So, that's what you were doing when you snuck outside! Well worth it!
WOW! this is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!
I had borrowed Greg's 300 2.8, this was with the 1.7 tc.
What a nice shot!
And I wish you a Happy new year to you and Leigh and the growing (? )family as well!

Beautiful birdy, Patrick. The detail is wonderful and nothing was lost while using the TC. The positioning of the bird is very nice.
Nice capture, Patrick
Clear, sharp, good detail, nice colors. Adds up to a winner in my book.
Great color and detail, but the pose really adds interest to this photo. [Wish I had some bluebirds to photograph -- only see them migrating through.]
Great shot! I see he was watching you!
Thanks everybody. This was the only shot that came out decent enough to post. I was using a borrowed lens, (300 2.8) and have no experience with it. Its really a shame because I got a flight shot of a Pileated Woodpecker but its horrible, so I won't post that. Maybe with some more practice I can master the 300 2.8 + tc.
It's a great shot, Patrick!
More practice = purchase?
