Blue Dasher (female)

    Out chasing dragonflies again. This is with just the 300 mm, no ext. tubes or TC. Comments welcome.

    Really nice, I'm with Dave, I love everything about this one too. It almost looks like he's smiling at you.

  5. It is a nice image Dave but if you don't mind I will offer a suggestion. Post processing of this image could improve it. I suggest just a tad more contrast which will brighten it some and give the appearance of being sharper. Love the use of DOF to isolate this lovely Blue Dasher.

    the face on this guy is great.. Excellent shot.

    Agree with Gordon. Would also clone out the flower down in the left corner.

    Boy with a face like that it would make several kinds of cute cards and captions.
     
  7. Love the background colors and the picture in general. If you're gonna clone out the bottom left flower, try cropping the stem of the main flower too. I did using the scroll bar in this window and Gale's right, it looks like a greeting card!
