  2. Both good shots Jan. I like the second shot, it is a very poignant portrait. Also nice available light. Makes me wondering what she is thinking. Nicely done.

    When I made this shot the whole setting made me think about the painter Vermeer. He used the same light in his paintings.

    I'm a real art-lover. As a photographer you can learn so much about composition and use of light by studying the old masters.

    Yeah! I see the resemblance Jan, right down to the texture on the wall. Hey! Vermeer also went by Jan didn't he?

    I love the 'Lost Eye' portrait! They can be somewhat distracting - this one isn't. Tnx!
