Bluebirds and Berries

While out shooting the Osprey nest last week I stopped by a Bluebird nest I knew about to see if there was any action. Being as late as it is, I didn't expect to find much but I was surprised at what I did find. What I found was a pair of Mountain Bluebirds with an active nest, probably their third brood of young. Being this late in the season the pair were molting, so the iridescence in their feathers was missing.

Louie, a fantastic set of photos. Love 3 and 4 in particular. The colors are just wonderful. Nicely done.
