I did this conversion in LR3 working with split toning.
You set the highlights and the shadows to a different hue and start from there.
Something I read on another forum.

I kinda like it.

We only got colour in 1974.

beautifully done Bart, the eye is taken out to the right following the river, and the trees add punch to the main subject.
