Bored so I focus stacked.

Getting a little bored inside so I rummaged in the garage for subject material. First attempt, full of specular highlights, but fun to do anyway.

A 1/2 inch self taping screw, second shot setting on sandpaper. Don't remember the grit. 32 stack each, done with a Z7 and focus shift. Put together with Helicon Focus.

Looks like an interesting project and well done. I've been trying to focus-stack wildflowers in the great outdoors and wind makes it very frustrating. Your subjects are more cooperative.

(p.s. I think it's a self-tapping screw.)

Thanks Jim. Wind is not our friend. At least my Z7 will take around two to three shots a second this helps. Cuts down the total exposure time in the wind. Oops, yes, tapping.
