    Hi,

Not posted on here for a while, but do pop my head in now then then. :)

I know some of you guys like photography so here goes :

A couple of holiday pics - Last minute decision we ended up at Bournemouth. We went there last year and had a fab time. So we trekked there again.

Most the hotels were booked because of the air show, but we managed to find 1 hotel for 1 night, then found another one for another 2 nights.

Unfortunately I was due to goto back to work on Saturday, so I had to cut the trip short, but I managed to get some pics of the air show.

    Enjoy!

The beach was absolutly packed :   No space to even walk!

All the decent spots for taking photos were gone - So we ended up on the other side of the pier on the hill - I figured this was probably as good as it was going to get! So I was standing on this broken wall.

Had my Nikon D80 with me this time with 18-200mm VR lense.

Have never used this camera before on holiday so I wasn't sure how the pics will turned up. Had to take a few test shots to check.

Sorry if the pics aren't 100%. It was my first time with the SLR at the airshow.  :)

There was this miltary type ship in the background - it was stationary. Easy Pic :

Next was to try a moving shot on maximum zoom :

Seemed ok so far ... little did I know how hard this was going to get!

Here are some pics that flew over :

Had trouble keeping up with this one - I think its a hornet? It was quick!

The helicopter display team (Black Cats) turned up - but they were quite far from were I was standing : Did some acrobatics with some helis.

Then I spotted this in the amongst the clouds - totally silent :

As it got closer - the twin afterburners went on and the noise from that was absolutely incredible! 8) All the kids covered the ears including some adults too..

Any guesses to what it was?
