looking good!
You and the 300 f/2.8 seem to be getting along just fine.

Very nice Randy, the peak action was captured nicely. Are you comfortable shooting with a prime after using a zoom?

Randy,

Nice series!

I hope you don't mind a couple of questions. Do you use a monopod/VR off or handheld?

I am impressed at how sharp these are. I was just wondering where your focus point is?

Thanks

Randy,

Excellent images. Only thing I would say is horizons are a touch off in a few of them (sure you already knew that)

Peak action in all images, looks good :)

thx guys

i use auto iso on the d3 only
I am completely used to primes for sports now...i don't even take the 70-200 with me anymore....
I'll use the 400 for soccer and fb and the 300 for baseball and softball and the 70-200 for basketball

I use a monopod when using the 300...I always focus on the eyes
