Bristol Rugby vs. Saracens - 1st OCT - D3 @6400 ISO (RAW)

  1. A few from tonights game. 10th straight defeat in the Premiership for Bristol who look in a lot of trouble. They are playing well, but not well enough and with key personel absent, injured or moved on, one wonders if they could go down. It is not looking good....

    All shot on a D3 at 6400 ISO with a 300mm F/2.8 in RAW which is much better than JPEG for noise control.

    As often said, this camera makes the impossible possible. If I were shooting Canon it would be 3200 max, under exposed by a stop the PP every image to bring up the levels. With the D3 I just shoot and go !!! However, forget the ISO it is the cameras white balance the amazes me.....

    love the images. action looks great. This seems like it would be a fun sport to shoot.

    Great game - fantastic shots. That camera certainly gives you an edge..
