This is my daughter Brittney. She likes posing and acting goofy. I took this in my backyard and did some PP to it. I'm in the process of learning PS3 so help me with suggestions to make it better. I'm having trouble with the skin tones. If you want, do your fix to it, post it, and tell me what you did.

    your daughter is so cute
nice of you to let us play with the image a bit

do you have a link to the original
this one is too small to manipulate too much
    thanks

  3. first thing i would do....
increase the color saturation quite a bit
    then..... selectively sharpen the eyes
2 easy things to do .... to get this:

Awww Phil - you have got some beautiful daughters...do you have sons too? Beautiful. The WB looks a little off...did you customize it or shoot auto? Also HER left arm looks someone out of proportion.

Here's a larger size of the original. I like what you have done so far.

Thank you Sen. They deffinately get the looks from their mother. I have two sons, the oldest is sixteen and driving now. (Oh Boy) My other son is twelve.
My children in order are: Boy 16, Girl 14, Boy 12, Girl 10. Back to photography now, I believe auto WB and your right about her arm. Please do some of your magic to it and let me know.

Ok we both have 16 year olds and my son is driving too - agh doesn't that just scare you? Anyone who has children who are close to driving age...gosh your time is coming...I just get so scared but I don't let him know I'm scared. My boy is an April (DIAMOND) baby...yes I have a nice mother's rings.

You really can't see what I did to her face...but here is a close up.

The only pp I did was on her eyebrows and lips everything else was done with filters.

One thing that I should've backed off was the bottom eys...I tried to show more of her bottom eyelashes and wound up over burning. Sorry if I offended.

I see that you did some sharpening to it. Do you burn it as well or did you use a curve?

Don't know if you saw this because it was on page 1.

FILTER > Sharpen > UNSHARPEN MASK. I burned her eyebrows, upper lashes...the bottom lashes I probably went too far. I couldn't correct it because I flatten the image and saved it. I also burned the tree in the back.

I used 3 filters - Glamour, Soft Glow and tonal Contrast.

I can't find those filters in my PS3, do I have to buy them from someone else?

    Phil,
The filters are part of the Nik Pro Efex 3.0. The cost of the filters are about $200.00
