Britzer Garden in Berlin

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by DanielD, Jun 13, 2007.

  1. Last weekend I was in the Britzer Garden in the afternoon. For the German readers, that park is the former "Bundesgartenschau" from 1985 (former park of a garden exhibition - kind of).

This is where I tried to capture flying dragon flies:

(not entirely satisfied with the WB, will check again, maybe a little too red)

The garden has a small train for kids and grandma's:

    ... nice hills and grasslands

of course water with nice places to relax

    AND some sheep!

(and of course lots of seasonal flowers and plants which I only took a few snaps of since I was chasing dragon flies half of the time  )

Though a little entrace fee was needed (2€), definitely worth a visit!

  4. Looks like a nice place to hang out.

I didn't see much of Berlin on my last visit (Congress in May 2005), also there was extremely bad weather.

Well, I have to come back there anyway on day.

    Cheers
