Broken rear axle causes mayhem

The consensus among the photographers was the right rear axle snapped and triggered the ensuing mayhem.

Good safety equipment did its job and driver was ok after this nasty flip.

Great series. I really like number 3 and the way it shows the onlookers as well as the mayhem. The tire to the right of the frame pretty well tells what happened. Great job of keeping everything properly framed!

Oh, I found his problem, He let his wheel fall off! see it over on the right in the third picture there? if he would have had that on there... He still would have been going straight, right side up... :biggrin:

Glad to hear that the driver is okay. And great job capturing the action!
