C&C always welcome. I only ask one thing. Be as brutal as possible. :) Seriously!

Hi Leung

Nice images of the BB

#2
Nice tones, textures, and composition. However I would crop the 1.5 -2 inches from the top to remove some of that ugly roof on the right and to emphasize the main elements.

Nice captures.............I like #3. I think you could make it a tad brighter (looks a little darker on my pc). I'm planning on going to Brooklyn Bridge as well to get some images of the waterfalls in the near future.

Shot 2 is the best, but I'd removed the building and people.
Nothing spoils a landscape, like people

Being brutal, I'd say
(This applies to all NY photographers posting on here).
Stop posting pictures of NYF'ingC
We've all seen it now, please no more
Go upstate and shot something different

"NYF'ingC"................now you're on my sh_t list, bud. Why would you write this?? Don't look, if you don't want to see.

I'd love to shoot parts of the UK, but I haven't because I'm here.

For "only joking", you are sure to miss-lead a lot of the members, even "only" if you meant to "joke" around.

Best not to post if that's your best shot a wry humor.

Leung, I think shot number three captures this event as well as any I've seen. Nice!

Ditto - especially when NYC is in the title...made it easy for you to skip!!!

now back to talking about photography... thats what we are all here for right...

i like all three shots i however on #2 would toss the people and the roof out... on #3 i would lighten it a bit then dodge and burn in the areas that need more detail.

I love #2 and # 3. The lighting in #2 is just fab. Did you shoot it at the Golden Hour?
I can't get enough of the NewYork pictures. My chances of getting there to see the city is pretty much zero. I love to see the pictures of "ordinary" stuff that is posted too cause as a tourist we are all so busy being blown over by the bright spots of the city  that we would just miss seeing the cool stuff that the NY guys post.
Cheers

I WAS JOKING. I DID NOT MEAN IT.
No offence was meant to those NY photographizers.

Hi All,
Just to keep things sane and civilised I reckon the UK humour has crashed and burned but this shouldn't get things too uptight...and anyways I reckon NYC is justy about the most photogenic city on the planet (of course there are many many rivals) but I would hate our US cafe visitors think badly of the UK members...keep them coming Leung!
Best wishes to all,
sconti

Okay, it's cool. I'm a jokester myself, but I gotta tell ya, it didn't come across that way when I read it.

I didn't even know the Brooklyn Bridge now has a waterfall underneath! My daughter informed me that that is a recent addition to this bridge. (didn't I see it on yahoo?) I grew up years ago on Long Island and love New York. We took weekly trips to visit my grandparents in Brooklyn. Post all you want, your photography is wonderful. I love the last shot as well.

Hi Bright Angel

I got your joke from the beginning. I guess I'm weird. LOL

Looking forward to seeing your images from your trip. :)

Those are cool shots, the second one really shows the size of it. Love the sky too, nice!
