Those were at one time, beautiful brownstones. I wonder why they left it to decay like that. If you have somoene bring you inside, there are a lot of shooting opportunities...

Nice images, I think they would stand out more if they were converted to black and white. I haven't been to the Brooklyn Navy yard in about 10 years.......it's a shame that the place is so run down.

Your photo's also remind of a documentary I recently viewed.........Life after humans. It depicted what would happen when human were no longer around and this is kind of what they stated........placed would get run down and erode, weeds and tree would grow, and vines would cover up buildings.........kind of sad.

Wonderful photography but yet it’s sad to see those once beautiful buildings in such a state of decay.
