These remind me there is to much snow in the mountains Eric. One of my favorite lakes still has ice on the surface. I like the creative shots and was wondering how the second might look as a BW.

I had the same thoughts. I normally complain about blue snow and blue ice, but take the blue out of the second shot and you might as well go all the way to B&W. But then, that changes the feeling of the image -- the color is inviting, but without it, the image is foreboding.
