...are winding down, so I am getting a chance to cull through my pictures from the past month. Here are my warbler lifers:

Blue-Winged Warbler:

Connecticut Warbler...skulky little thing.:

Mr Wilson!:

Blackburnian Warbler:

And a really crummy Mourning Warbler:

 Thanks Ron, and how true...except at Magee Marsh, which is where I got some of them from...Usually during the Spring and Fall migration there, it is a matter of backing up because they are so close.

Steve, How is it at Magee Marsh? I thought about going last year, but my knee was a mess. Now knee is fixed, but weather is a mess. Then I saw pics of the hoards of people there, which did not appeal to me. It is just far enough I would have to make it an overnight, which might be fun.

What lens did you use at the Marsh?

It was awesome...I stayed off of the boardwalk, and hit the beach for most of it. But the boardwalk had some nighthawks and whip poor whill on it, so I had to go on it...the wilson came from there as well, but the blackburnian and the mourning was on the beach area. Most of my stuff was on Friday as well. There is still some stuff being reported over there on the listserv ;-D . I think that next year I am taking the week. Instead of a three day.

I used my Sigma for them. Love it.

All great shots. But #1 really stands out for me.
Thanks. That was my playing hard to get bird this year...took three days to get it.

Well, you've sold me on a trip to Magee. Great set.
Thanks Baxter. The best time is the first half of May with he best time usually around the 15th. Here is the website that belongs to the group of people that "host" it. Host#1 is Ken Kaufman .:http://www.bsbobird.org/
Id love to have any of those. Very elusive collection you have there. Nice shots.

Thanks Rich. I was surprised at how these were easy this year, and the easy ones were hard..go figure

Well done Steve! Nice collection.

Thanks Al.
