Bug ID, mud dabber????

  2. I'm gonna say it's a Cricket Hunter Wasp (Chlorion aerarium)

  4. Sorry to correct you, but Chlorion is not possible - Chlorion species (all over the world) never have such a hairy thorax, it is always shiny. In addition the whole body is metallic blue or green.

    I would rather put the above species near Sphex pennsylvanicus.
