    Thank you, Frank and Hunter. Knowing that these beasts are ambling about has added an extra measure of excitement to taking landscape and bird pix in the area!

  9. I have a very healthy respect for these guys. Anything that can last tens of thousands of years without needing to evolve is a winner!
    Great photos - are these guys actually ambling around in the wild???? while you shoot??? I know I sound like a suburban dummy.
